REPOST: New Facts about Planet X, the Earth's Rotation and Global Warming

As we get closer to 2012 and approach the end of the infamous Mayan calendar, our global society is being inundated with warnings and innuendo from all directions about what might happen on December 21, 2012. Researchers have come forward, movies have been made, and prominent people like Jesse Ventura are making documentaries on the subject. But folks, it's always important to keep things in perspective, especially when you're talking about the end of the world. The truth of the matter is that nobody really knows what's going to happen, but nonetheless reports from the media and expert researchers in the field have successfully managed and continue to fuel the imaginations of millions of people (from around the world) that either the end is near or, at the very least, something terrible is going to happen.

Having said that, I wrote an article in 2007 that, by many accounts, is one of the most well researched papers on the subject and at this time, as we approach the time of prophecy 4 years after my original article, I felt it was time and relevant, now more than ever, to re-post the article as a means to keep things in perspective and separate science fiction from science fact.  This article has been available since that time in its original form on the website Michael Bourne's The Book Of THoTH and right here on News Source (local article link).

This article was first published on my first (and now offline) blog Disinformation Today, then re-posted on this blog Joe Burd's News Source upon its inception.  Currently, you can still see it in its original hypertext form here or on a a recent re-posting of it in my Newsvine column, Xziled, with recent comments and dialogue from the perspective of being in a time-frame that is less than two years away from the infamous date, December 21, 2012.
